“If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special.” – Coach Jim Vlavano

With over 16 years of experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (many of those years spent at Trinity), my passion lies in fostering wellness for patients across their lifespan. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals facing acute and chronic mental health challenges, as well as those grappling with substance abuse disorders. By blending medication management with therapeutic approaches, I strive to empower patients in harnessing their strengths towards optimal health.
Having dedicated more than 28 years to mental health and family medicine, I’ve witnessed the transformative impact of personalized care. It’s truly an honor to walk alongside patients on their journey to wellness.
Earning my Doctorate in Nursing Practice signifies my dedication to mastering the latest advancements in nursing science and healthcare leadership, enabling me to provide the highest standard of care to my patients. With a commitment to lifelong learning and a passion for making a meaningful difference, I continuously refine my skills to navigate the dynamic healthcare landscape with confidence and compassion.
Beyond the clinic, I cherish moments with my beloved family – my husband, three sons, our adorable new grandson, and our furry companions, two miniature schnauzers and a little morkie. You’ll often find me doing strength training at the gym, enjoying leisurely walks, or nurturing gardens to attract birds and wildlife.

Why Patients Choose Me:
“People feel calm and safe when they’re with me. They trust that I am honest with them and have their best interest at heart.“

“I started with Pam Wenning over 10 years ago to help support my emotional needs and develop a plan to get me in a better place. Through the years I have had many events that have negatively impacted my mental health, and she has been right there to support me. I am so appreciative of her desire to coordinate my plan with my other healthcare providers in a team approach, as my needs have changed. Even though I continue to have setbacks with my physical health, I know that she will be there to support me and work to help find the best solutions moving forward for my mind and body.”
– K. M.
“Pam Wenning is not just someone I love; she’s someone I trust implicitly. She initially helped my daughter with anxiety and depression. When a traumatic event hit, Pam skillfully guided us through it with a tailored medication plan, assuring me that we’d taper off once the crisis subsided. I placed my full faith in her judgment, and my daughter emerged stronger. Since then, four family members have sought Pam’s expertise. I trust her with our family’s well-being, and that is the highest praise you can give to a medical professional.”
