“Sometimes when you are in a dark place, you think you have been buried, but actually you have been planted.” -Christine Caine

Growing up in an Asian-American family where mental health wasn’t discussed, I often struggled alone in processing and trying to understand my anxiety and depression. I’ve come to learn that whether we face them or suppress them, our worries, sadness, and emotions will eventually find a way out whether we’re ready for them or not. But we don’t have to suffer through it alone because we’re not meant to do it alone – there is help and hope. I believe different seasons of life require different kinds of support – medication, talk therapy, both or neither – to help you just take even one step forward in this healing journey. As your psychiatric provider, I approach your care through a lens of holistic, evidence-based medicine and medication optimization to find and treat the root cause. My end goal is to empower and equip you in leading a full, abundant life.
